The Zone’s newest game, "Atomica," detonates stubborn mid-day mental blocks
with an injection of workplace fun. "Atomica" challenges players to move
atoms of the same color across the board to form blocks of four. These
blocks, or molecules, disappear when complete, clearing space on the board
for the formation of new molecules. But watch out! Each time an atom is
moved without forming a molecule, extra atoms appear, making the challenge
of clearing the board increasing difficult.
A full game of "Atomica" is easily played in less than five minutes. Three
skill levels provide a challenge for expert puzzlers, or a user-friendly
introduction for players logging on for the first time. An optional time
trial allows gamers on a time budget or in need of a more powerful mental
distraction to play a shorter, more intense round as they attempt to solve
the molecular brainteaser and race the clock. "Atomica" is brought to you
by the creators of "Bejeweled," currently the Zone’s no. 1 game with over
1.5 million players a month.
