Every once in a while, you go to a tech company and realize that the people there are out of their minds. In a good way.
Like the folks at a 60-employee optical networking company called Glimmerglass. In one sense, they're just quirky, which is certainly not rare among tech start-ups. A Glimmerglass co-founder with size 15 shoes goes around wearing a bowling shirt identifying him as Flounder. And the founders last year interviewed potential CEOs, then hired the guy who came in with a black eye from doing a martial art called Aikido.
