One of the problems with being late for meetings is that you get volunteered for a lot of stuff, and of course since you're not there to offer your lame excuse, you wind up having to nod and smile when you're informed later of your latest new duty (other wise you're reminded that you were late to the meeting). So rest assured that I'm smiling and nodding as I write this.
Since this is my first entry in the dev diary series, perhaps I should introduce myself. My name is Alex J. Jimenez, and I'm the lead designer at Tesseraction Games. I've been in the industry for 12 years and have designed games for PC, console, and coin-op arcade. Some of the companies I've worked for include Capcom, Dynamix, and 3DO.
