A Notebook That Can Take a Punch

There's nothing quite like the split second of terror that occurs when a laptop computer is traveling downward toward the ground with a lot of help from gravity.

Much as computer manufacturers would like you to ignore this fact, most laptop computers are nowhere near prepared to stand up to the abuse that some users put them through. Not only are the machines dropped, but their keyboards have an unfortunate habit of attracting cups of hot beverages while on airliners. Use it outdoors and blowing dust can seep into the keyboard and render some portions of the keyboard inoperable. These are the risks we run in hopes of finding a little freedom of movement with our computing tools.
