Pinnacle has recently released a new version 1.50 Beta 1 of its drivers for the Pinnacle Pro-ONE video capturing card. These new drivers support Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP and add several new features and improvements listed below:
- Export of AVIs no longer crashes at 4GB boundary
- Gradient wipes are now right side up
- Improved performance for gradient wipes, bitmap loads
- When scrubbing timeline HFX transitions always show background bitmap
- Improved image quality, banding of colored borders (real time vs. rendered) resolved
- HFX render bug resolved
- A variety of smaller bugfixes
- Support for Win2k/Win XP
- Reverse play in timeline (J=keyboard shortcut in timeline)
- “negative” speed (reverse play of clip)
- Capture from DV: supporting now different Audio datarates with DVTools and Premiere (Audio resampling)
- Audio resampling for Playback in Premiere (Clip window)
- Audio resampling for Playback in DVTools (playback of multiple files with different audio datarate possible)
- Output (Analog / DV) mode and Audio scrub on/off visualized in mIV window
- Show Title/Action safe area in preview window
- Pinnacle effects: smooth motion when keyframing position
- Preset Manager: export/import user presets
