Listen.com drops Microsoft for RealNetworks | |

Listen.com Inc. will replace the Microsoft Corp. technology it uses for its Rhapsody online music service with RealNetworks Inc.'s technology, Listen.com said Wednesday after receiving a minority investment from RealNetworks. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, could also be the first sign of love between Rhapsody and the competing MusicNet online music service, in which Seattle-based RealNetworks has a significant stake. Listen.com of San Francisco will explore working with RealNetworks on future services, it said in a statement. | ||

| The wiser thing for them would be to offer both. As for me, I refuse to install software from RealNetworks, so Listen.com will not have me for a client so long as the don't offer Windows Media. |

| BobSmith, we are on the same page on this one. I totally refuse to install software from RealNetworks. And I totally hate it when sites only use them, I just won't use it. |
