Microsoft Corp. issued two bulletins Tuesday, disclosing "critical" flaws in its popular Internet Explorer Web browser, as well as in MSN Chat, MSN Messenger and Exchange Messenger. The Chat and Messenger flaws were to have been corrected by an earlier patch. | ||

Yep, the pressure was on to fix the Gopher problem. Until a patch is available you can do this. Go to:
1. Tools 2. Internet Options 3. Connections 4. LAN Settings 5. Check Use Proxy Server 6. Advanced 7. In the Gopher section put "localhost" as the address and "1" as the port(without the quotes) *oops, didn't the post down the page about this. * This post was edited by kirk26 on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at 07:37. |
