Microsoft has given us a first taste of Windows 8. Unfortunately, while it has some attractive visual elements, Microsoft’s approach shows that the company hasn’t learned much from its product failures over the past decade.

If MS was smart, they would not give the new OS the "Windows" name at all. Even Win 7 I constantly get freezing, "explorer is not responding", etc. "Windows" no longer carries ANY positive marketing at all. All that's missing is the blue screen background. I have about 4 hours research and googling about these issues and am amazed at how many others have this same issue. I'm ready for "Lion", even though I've never owned a Mac. Sorry for the rant
