The changes are welcome. However, most people install rootkits as part of, or as a result of installing, free spyware downloads, which then lead to other infections. How long will it take to spoof valid digital signatures? I suspect that Average Joe will continue to give the go ahead to install whatever they think is needed to run the free crap. Users paying attention will be better protected. Many others will continue to have issues. Only one of 20 PC owners sets up a limited user account for their kids to use. the rest leave the youngsters with full adminstrative rights. Vista will not fix user ignorance.
