Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT - news) founder Bill Gates gave a sneak preview of Windows XP Tuesday, calling it the most important release since Windows 95. Gates promised that the new version of Windows will help restart sluggish PC sales, but analysts aren't so sure. "I'm not convinced there's going to be any net change in the sluggish growth we're seeing in the PC industry," GartnerGroup vice president and research director Neil MacDonald told NewsFactor Network.
