| I don' t care for MSN Explorer, it reminds me AOL too much. Also the fact that you have to use Hotmail instead that a POP3 mail service is totally unacceptable for me. I like the new web page though. |

Fritz: What's wrong with using the hotmail service?
It allows you to be able to view your e-mails from anywhere on any device... with POP3, if you download messages on one device, and then go and check your e-mail on another, you can't get to the stuff you've already downloaded. |

| #12 I agree that with HTTP based services you can retrieve your mail everywhere and in fact I have a Hotmail address too but quite often I am unable to access it for server problems or some other technical problem; furthermore Hotmail is inflated by spam even more than the regular MSN mail, third I prefer to have my mail stored in my system and not somewhere else (sorry but I am too old to feel comfortable having all my data on the net), fourth but not less important many sites will not accept a free service based email address when you order or apply for something. |
