For Bruce, IBM means, "I'm glad I bought a Mac." DOS stands for "Do it Over Stupid," and he often paraphrases Henny Youngman, "Take my PC -- please!" If someone in the audience says they use a Windows PC, he says he's sorry they're stuck with such a primitive piece of equipment. Bruce said more often than not, the entire audience is hostile to his point of view. "But I usually get away with it," he said. "Although they don't agree with me, they're laughing." | ||

And you think this proves some sort of bias, Neb?
It's a story about a lameass comedian who builds his routines and materials around the Mac. That's pathetic -- that's not pro-Mac proganda. A search shows that Wired has frequently slammed the community, the products, and the business strategy. They also have pro stories too. But generally speaking the pro stories are about some very niche element of the media world (NYC underground DJs, reporters in the field in Iraq) that actually are uniquely Mac, whereas the negatives characterize Apple users as one mindless hord (Feiss fanatics). |
