Microsoft's General Manager Of Weblications To Speak At XML Seminar
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 1999--Xmlu.com, a division of Architag International, today announced that Microsoft's (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) General Manager of Weblications Adam Bosworth will be a featured speaker at the up-coming (TAG) '99 West seminar.
``Microsoft now has many XML initiatives underway that allow our customers to more easily integrate and search all their corporate data, providing a true universal data-access mechanism,'' says Bosworth. As co-presenter of the ``Integrating Data and Documents'' session at (TAG) '99 West, Bosworth will share the podium with JP Morgenthal, president and founder of NC.Focus and (TAG) '99 co-chair.
``The widespread adoption of XML has allowed the industry to focus its sights on the difficult task of dynamically integrating structured data and free-form documents,'' says Morgenthal. ``This allows us to truly build unified views of our business data.''
The ``Integrating Data and Documents'' session will examine how, by using XML, the traditionally disparate environments of data and documents can be successfully merged to become a unified system.
Other sessions in Morgenthal's track include: ``Programming Paradigms Supporting XML,'' ``Using XML for Dynamic Data Aggregation'' and ``XML as a Foundation for Business-to-Business Information Exchange.'' For a full description of each of these sessions visit the Web site at http://tag99.com.
(TAG) '99 West is being produced by Xmlu.com and hosted by Architag International. The event takes place Feb. 8-10 at the Santa Clara Convention Center and will be co-chaired by Brian Travis, president and CEO of Architag International, and JP Morgenthal, president of NC.Focus.
