Install Windows Without Replacing Another
If you want to install a new version of Windows, the easy way out it to upgrade it. But that will replace the current Windows and if like to work with multiple versions of Windows, this is definitely a nightmare.
You must remembered that Windows will prompt you which to install Windows. Yes, surely by specifying a different path, Windows will not conflict against each other right? Wrong! Windows will detect first whether you have another version of Windows running. If your new Windows doesn't support upgrading, Setup will exit because because of the current Windows installed before you have the chance to specify the new path!
Well, there is a way to do this. Rename your older WIN.COM ( in this case, rename it to win31 for Windows 3.1 or win95 ). Now Windows will be "tricked" to thinking there is no other Windows since there is no conflicting WIN.COM. And during install, make sure you do install under a different directory.
