Digital Signature
Check for Device Drivers
You can establish a digital signature check for
installed drivers by setting the Policy value in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver
Signing key. Selecting this box
reveals a list box with the following entries.
Policy Value = 0 Allows Installation of All Drivers
Policy Value = 1 Warn Installation of Non-Microsoft Signed Drivers.
Policy Value = 2 Block Installation of Non-Microsoft Signed Drivers.
