There’s nothing bad to say about the Iomega HipZip. It looks cool, it works great, it delivers outstanding sound quality with powerful bass and treble levels, it comes with great software and best of all it can be easily upgraded to be improved again by adding support for future audio standards. The fact it uses Pocket ZIP disks is really an advantage due to their low cost comparing to memory cards. One thing is regrettable though: a 40 MB capacity per disk is small so you won’t be able to store more than one hour of music in the best cases but due to the fact disks are cheap and very small you can take several with you for hours of music. I literally fall in love with this excellent, state of the art portable MP3 player that every good techie and music fan should have right now. With a price equal to a conventional MP3 memory based player the HipZip is clearly a good choice since it uses affordable disks and comes with tons of great features.
