Nine New Splinter Cell Screens

Today Ubi Soft released impressive new screens of its stealth-based shooter Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. The game received a lot of attention at this year's E3 and the anticipation has been growing ever since. Based in the Tom Clancy political universe, the game follows Sam Fisher, an operative of Third Echelon, a sub-organization of the National Security Agency. Boasting stunning visuals and a unique blend of action and stealth elements, the game is attempting to be a Metal Gear Solid 2 killer. Perhaps the most intriguing feature is the �stealth meter,' a visual indication of to what degree Sam Fisher is hidden amongst his surroundings. Splinter Cell is scheduled for a simultaneous PC and Xbox release on 11/12/2002.
