| Microsoft did the same thing with MSN Explorer 6.1. We posted the link. They called and told us to remove it, as it "wasn't" released and still contained many errors. They released it the next day, same build number and all. |

| Thank you #29. Most of the time, when they post it to that conxion close to it's intended release, it is final. If it wasn't final, and trust me on this, Microsoft would have called me by now several times. And, FYI to everyone, we may post information on betas and what not, but we do not post links to beta downloads, etc. If on the rare occasion we do, it's only because it's on a Microsoft site and we say it is beta. In this case, I'd bet a good deal of money this was final. It is available to those are on beta testers of Windows Update officially. |

| Are you guys REALLY in THAT big of a hurry that you're willing to risk MS changing things at the last minute or some late-breaking bug shows up? Why not just calm down and wait until it's posted officially. ServicePacks are big things and I'd hate to just jump it and nuke my box because of some bug. If you need some of the fixes now, most of the fixes in SP2 are available as seperate HotFixes. |

| Thanks Lester, yea, if you are looking for 100% guarantee it's final, it's always safe to look for the announcement. But, most of the time, MS will catch something they don't agree with within a few hours after posting. |

Well regardless, thanks AW for keeping everyone updated. BTW I really like this site. I am sick and tired of all the Microsoft hate (where is the love?). AW is now my favorite internet site. Slashdot eat your heart out :p
