According to charging documents, the alleged victim was cleaning the third-floor kitchen in Building No. 27 around 11 p.m. on July 22 when Srivastava approached her and motioned for her to follow him down the hall to his office. She grabbed her cleaning supplies and followed him, “assuming he needed something clean(ed) in his office,” the papers say. | ||

| I marvel at the routes the lives of these people weave through this modern age of transportation and technology. I presume Srivastava here is in the US on a Green Card. I reasonably imagine the cleaning woman also is not a naturalized US citizen. And given the immigration patterns of people moving from the Southern Hemisphere, I expect the woman is probably Hispanic. Oh, that these individuals come from so far away and meet in such a pitiable way! It's an international crime story. Sure, she was likely Canadian, too, but that variation just doesn't have story-telling potential. |

| It's sad. Even the first supervisor brushed her off! His story about being forced, then having to go to his car, wasn't too good. |
