SOFTWARE HOUSE Microsoft is rolling out an update for its Windows Phone 8 Skype app, delivering features such as HD 720p HD video chat and bringing back People Hub integration.
In Skype for Windows Phone version 2.4, Microsoft said it has focused on "increasing quality and reliability while also adding new capabilities based on customer feedback".
Video calling is touted as the major update in the release, offering VGA video on lower end handsets and HD 720P on higher end devices including the Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Windows Phone 8X and Samsung Ativ S. The app also determines the best quality available based on the speed of your connection.
