The window to upgrade to Windows 8 is now open, but the verdict is still out on Microsoft’s new OS. Redmond began accepting orders for the new OS this week, an upgrade most noticeable for its embrace of tablet computers and touch controls through a radical rethinking of the role of the Start button. Rather than simply a button tucked away in the lower-left corner, the Start menu takes over the entire interface with colorful, dynamic, inviting tiles. But is it inviting or simply confusing? Not even the experts can agree. | ||

| Guys, and I mean this from the bottom of my existance, as I reiterated before, this is number one priority in my life. I have paid the developer and the new designs are all done and I am at his mercy. I am not a .net programmer and I cannot make this go any faster |

| Any word on LKetchum? I thought his company did quite a lot of work on the upgrade, but last I heard, he was quite sick? |

| Our friend Lloyd is very ill still, but recovering. Coincidentally, I am travelling to Alabama on Monday to visit his office for a client - that is still where ActiveWin is hosted. The new site is on our new server. I had dinner with the developer last night and he assured me there is progress being made. He had to help me yesterday, because I received a letter from Google, 4000+ users out of 800k had porn references in their profiles. So that is being fixed immediately. Hang in there guys. |

| I hope the developer isn't playing "Win Bob Stein's Money" and gets the new site live ASAP. |
