Psion as a company is adept at not telling people things, and indeed where you can get them, so it's no surprise that this week it has contrived to sneak out a new rev of the netBook OS which finally includes built-in support for Ethernet PC cards, including several 802.11 ones. This is presumably the support that was due (was it in Q1 2001?) very shortly after the netBook launched in the first place, and that The Register infrequently harangued Psion operatives about before finally giving up.
As we understand it, the new rev is available somewhere at psion-teklogix.com. In order to get it you need to register as a partner, which is free, then you can download it. As the site is currently declining to let us log in either through Opera 6.0 (clears the fields again) or IE 5.5 (crashes - heh), we are unable to verify this. We fear the guy asking where he could warez Psion software on usenet recently might have had a point.
