| Typical Microsoft. Ignore the bug for years and then hold an "investigation" when the bug goes public. Perhaps, Microsoft, you should investigate why you didn't bother to act earlier. But now that it's public, they'll make a big show of doing something. Security theater at its finest. |

More to the point, what is the impetus behind all of these Google employees researching IE vulnerabilities <rubs chin in confusion> I wonder what that could be.
We all know that Google produces flawless software with no bugs or security vulnerabilities, s why waste time checking your own companies software when it is know to be perfect. |

| #2: Regardless of their motivations, it's still a chuckle that Google can find these things in MS's own code that MS can't find. And it's not the bugs per se that are the issue, but rather Microsoft's insincere posturing on security matters. |
