Microsoft has just published a new updated version of its "ICQ killer", instant messaging software, formerly named MSN Messenger. This new version 3.6.0026 brings some minor enhancements aimed to consolidate the integration with MSN online services and coincides with the upcoming release of MSN Explorer 6.1. We haven't got the exact list of enhancements & bug fixes since Microsoft doesn't disclose them yet. Be sure to download this new build (748KB) right now! | ||

ICQ is already dead. On another note, why must I reboot just to update to the latest Messenger? What system DLLs are they replacing or tampering with that requires a full system reboot? I thought MS was going for the goal of less reboots? |

| I don't use MSN Messenger, it doesn't have the features I like, it is not as quick to use and get around and it's interface isn't as good as ICQ's in my opinion, and the fact that I don't know a single person on MSN Messenger, yet I know over 100 on ICQ, and everybody that I ask or want on my contact list has ICQ, none of them have MSN Messenger... :) |
