Microsoft Says 'Courier' Tablet Project Shelved for Now | |

Microsoft Corp. has shelved a development project working on plans for a two-screen, tablet-style device that could be used to read electronic books and take notes. Microsoft spokesman Frank Shaw said the project, code-named Courier, is one of many ideas Microsoft tests but that don't necessarily pan out. | ||

| This is why Apple keeps getting labeled as innovative while really just foisting dull knock-off of its own products on an eager, undiscerning public. Microsoft should be leading with devices like the Courier but instead they choose to let Apple bask in faux glory. |

Ugg, the one piece of hardware from Microsoft I was actually looking forward to. The form factor was perfect - not too big, but plenty of screen space, plus the productivity of multiple displays. This post was edited by no1 on Saturday, May 01, 2010 at 06:15. |
