Bing is finally live, at least wherever my IP addresses direct. I started testing Bing against Google this morning. My reaction is what Microsoft marketing demanded I have about Windows Vista but didn’t: “Wow.” Actually, that’s fraking Wow! Who could have guessed. There’s a shocking transformation going on at Microsoft. It’s wicked scary, scarier than Quentin Tarantino directing a Nazi war movie. Microsoft is starting to do really good user interface design. The UI and concepts behind them help make Bing so damn appealing. Bing makes Google look cluttered and ugly " | ||

| Why is this suddenly news? Live search for videos did the video preview thing for awhile. Plus you have to turn safe search off to see the really nasty stuff. People are such whiners. |

#2: It isn't news. I posted that link for the laffs. btw turning Safe Search off is trivially easy for anyone who can read, so it's hardly a protection measure. But anyway, Fox made me laugh and I thought I would share the humour.
#3: For sure, given "endorses" = "mocks". Besides, isn't Fox news your favourite source of propag-, I mean, news? Aren't they truly fair & balanced? Interesting to see how your unhealthy devotion to MS trumps your Republican fetish. |

What I found fascinating this evening was that when I typed google.com on Chrome's address bar I arrived at Google. When I typed bing.com I received a message that "Oops the link is broken". Chrome made me type www.bing.com before it presented bing.com.
Don't be evil" sinks father into history at Google. |

#6 No issues with Chrome here... it could have been an issue on your end, but why think that when you can jump straight to the "don't be evil" memo. Tell you what... once they're done as many evil things as Microsoft then we can talk :)
My company currently blocks bing.com - not the main site, just when the results are being sent back.. I don't have the exact error message but from memory it's automatically blocked based on a rule triggered by the type of compression that bing uses or something. I guess they must be evil too. |

I suspect that your firewall became self-aware and screamed "DO NOT WANT!". Besides, people only use Bing to watch pornography. |
