| As much as I am getting a little tired of the standard Windows interface -- even the improved Win2K interface -- you have to realize that MS is the leader in interface design and have spent millions and millions on research, analysis, and human study to determine how to make their interface easily usable but the most number of people. Changing the interface IS a huge deal because it could potentially confuse millions of computer-illiterates who have just got the hang of the Windows interface. |
