The Microsoft operating system is improved by the soon-to-arrive service pack, but Windows Vista still is missing some features we'd like to see. With dissatisfaction over the Vista operating system persistent, can Microsoft right the OS's wrongs with its upcoming Vista service pack? Microsoft made the latest beta of Vista SP1 available to the public earlier this month, and after informally testing it for a couple of days, I find my PC is working more reliably--and some tasks especially file copying, take less time. But I was hoping for more out of SP1, such as bigger system performance gains and fixes for Vista annoyances including the oft-criticized User Account Control feature. | ||

He has not done a review at all!
Is he in dialup to download and install for 3 hrs? We testers have made it in 1 hour with WU install...this guy just writes something for the thing that he has to write.... Index search? My dear friend, you have always have the option to change index locations and its available even without SP1.. What a crap this is...yet another worst article from PC World... | #3 - "found little or no improvement at all" ????? are you sure you actually installed them?? SP1 implements a LOT of improvements almost across the board to the core OS. Instead of just using your eyes to look for something new and improved, how about you properly TEST the SP instead... like a real beta tester does. |

For your information. I was probably "Real beta testing" before you got your first keyboard.
why don't you go and read some of the reviews, on this so called update. And I can ashure you that I am not alone in thinking, this is too little too late |
