Rumors that Microsoft Corp. may purchase BlackBerry maker Research in Motion Ltd. are likely just that because of RIM's high price tag, though there would be benefits for both parties if a deal were struck, analysts said Friday.
this is so far-fetched, that it isn't even close to the realm of realty.
A $48billion purchase, by a Microsoft that only recently set their new acquisition record of $6billion. And thats not counting the fact that there is amazing overlap in msft and rim businesses. Also not counting that Rim is a hardware business as much as its a software firm.
Feel free to quote me, and rub it in my face, should I prove to be wrong.
