#12 - Uh huh... ya... no debating it... right.
I used Macs for 5 years buddy. I know the both the capabilities and pitfalls of Macs in general, as well as OS X. XP and OS X are both excellent operating systems, and one could debate quite a bit about which is better. In fact, it's been done: http://www.cnet.com/software/0-429669-8-7618644-1.html
The point is, you don't care about the truth. Mac zealots are worse than both Windows zealots and Linux zealots, as they often have little grasp of the technical details, and rely 100% on Apple for all their propaganda.
By the way, you could build an x86 machine with the same stats as your entry level Mac for about $350. You could build the fastest PC money can buy (Athlon XP 2200+, Asus A7V333, 60GB IBM HD, 512MB PC2700 DDR, SoundBlaster Audigy sound card, Geforce 4 128MB, cool aluminum Lian-Li case) for about $1500. Including shipping and tax.
That machine will completely crush and Mac (and basically any other machine) you put up against it (especially the new ones, which have some major "issues"... hehe). Don't believe me? Here is an independent benchmark:

That's not even looking at the Athlon XP's, which are a *lot* faster. And it's certainly not looking at the machine I detailed above... which would crush anything on that list.
The fastest Mac money can buy costs about $4000. That's with NO MONITOR! Granted, it comes with 1.5GB of ram and 160GB of HD space (both of which are meant to get stupid people to spend way too much money, as that much HD space is stupid and that much ram is overkill for almost every application), but that would add only about $400 to the price of the machine I listed above.
So, $1900 for an x86 machine which is far faster and has the same amenities as the $4000 G4. Ya, great deal.
But wait, what am I saying... there is no debate! Windows 95 = Mac 85, right? Right... sigh.
