Worse than that! This is a port scanning tool, it directly competes with Steve Gibson's Shields! Up! web page!

| I just went by Shields Up!. It reported me as Stealth even though I have a server running on port 80. I am behind a Linksys router, but the MS scanner reports LISTENING. I wouldn't totally trust Shields Up! (not that it was my only source for security scans). Some other web scanners also misreport this. |

| I tried Symantec and it said it couldn't scan my computer because I have a firewall. I'm not running any Norton software, though. I've tried many web-based scanners including the ones you mentioned, and none have correctly reported for me. One I have not tried lately is on DSLReports, but I don't think it will be any different. |
