Once again, the author proves he knows little about the interaction between a large company, a PC hardware vendor and Microsoft. He states, "the PC is reimaged by the corporation . . ." In fact, we provide our hardware vendor with image(s) and instruct them to ship a PC with such and such hardware and a particular image loaded on to it. If the vendor will not agree to load the image(s) that we specify, we look for another vendor.
So "craplets" are a non issue at most medium to large corporations, period.
Meanwhile, for the SOHO buyer, there are several good "decrapifiers" out there that are free to download, install, run, and move on to the "WOW!"
