We are pleased to announce the release of the February 2007 Community Technology Preview of Windows Server "Longhorn" (v. 6001-16461-070209-1510). Many of the changes since the last release have been driven by your feedback and we ask that every single beta tester download and install this build as soon as possible.

  1. English is the only language provided for this release.
  2. You should use a key from the key package "Beta 2 Enterprise Server (v.5384)
  3. There is no upgrade support from any version, you must do a clean instal
  4. Windows Firewall Client is now turned on by default during the install process

The following images are available with this release:

  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP for x86 and x64
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP for x86 and x64 Checked for Developers Only
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP for IA64
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP for x86 and x64 SDK-WDK-Windows AIK
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP Symbols for x86 and x64
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP Symbols for x86 and x64 Checked for Developers Only
  • Windows Server Longhorn February 2007 CTP Symbols for IA64
