| Won't install on my Vista Ultimate, says I need a version of Vista with TabletPC features.... last I checked, Ultimate has that. |

| #1, They mean Tablet PC hardware - touchscreen, pen, or finger input, etc... are you running a Tablet PC form factor, or UMPC of some type? |

| #3, the snipping tool is still very useful - an included SnagIt lite, if you will... and it works regardless of form factor. **They sure did a lot of work in ink and tablet PC support! - the new input panal on a tablet is really slick - slides out from the edge of the screen with a tap and retires as easily. I've only tried it out on M400 Toshiba's so far, but will soon upgrade a Samsung UMPC that is popular with doctors and field engineers. I've seen some video of the Q1 running Vista, which seemed to handle it better than it does XP - we'll see how it goes. |

Screw this. I want my DreamScenes!
Having paid $400 for Ultimate, and seeing the dearth of 'extra's', allows me to know how it feels to be a part of Licensing 6 and not getting anything out of it :( TL |

#5, Yeah! Us, too! - we and our customers are pissed that Brother Gates shared this and it didn't ship at the public launch. It'd be great for demo's and the like - though I can't see using it day to day. So far, extra's has been limited to "extra cost" a poker game, I'll never play, and some Bit-Locker enhancements. ...and the BETA... so secret and locked down that one dare not so much as speculate about what might be included... wassup with that? I mean, expose virtually everything Vista would be to about everyone who cared to see it and end up with little that is new to reveal at launch, yet maintain DreamScene under a veil so thick not even a chicken sexor could tell its gender... now where exactly are them chicken lips?
All I can say is that when it does ship - I heard May - it better all but jump out and answer my email for me. |

I'm running WSUS on SBS 2K3 R2 and haven't seen any of the Ultimate Extras yet. I posted to the WSUS newsgroup, but haven't received an answer. Other SBS users are having the same issue. I need to post again in a new thread to get an answer.

| #7 My understanding is that, unfortunately, you cannot see "Ultimate Updates" if your computer is part of a Domain and uses WSUS. |
