The Driver Validation Program (DVP) is designed to validate drivers for use with Windows CE .NET. This validation program offers the following benefits:

  • It guarantees that the driver meets the requirements of the Microsoft Windows CE .NET operating system, and therefore will be more readily accepted by customers and OEMs
  • When the driver passes validation testing, it will be added to the Device Drivers list
  • Inclusion on this list is a marketable quality assurance point and provides positive industry exposure
