I don't think this has anything to do with the Mac. This is the WCF team. They deal in web services, and are only a part of the .NET team. "Beple" is most likely BPEL, a language created by Microsoft, IBM and BEA to describe business processes that work with Web services.

They probably have work related to BEPL that they just weren't sure they could reveal.
As others have mentioned, WPF/e runs on the Mac (as was planned since the beginning). WPF/e includes a mini CLR that will have Mac and n*x ports. This has already been announced and shown, so I doubt the project is related to this.

Rotor v1 does run on the Mac. This is just the ECMA/ISO portion of the framework, and is only licensed for non-commercial use (I think specifically research and educational use). I don't think Rotor v2 was ever ported ( or finished being ported -- something about not wanting to rely on/having to change the bridge technology they were using, IIRC).
