Runs very nicely on RC2 [5744]. Light as a feather on the system and not at all in one's face.
Its firewall does turn off the default Windows Vista firewall. Out-bound filtering is on by default, and easy to manage. A new Phishing Filter monitor, which may be controlled for all users, is reflected in the security center.
For home and SOHO users, I think we'll end up recommending it as we have for XP SP2 users.
Other suites we have in BETA feel very heavy by comparison, or intrusive by default - e.g., poping up all the time, until splash screens were disabled in advanced settings.
I think WLOC is emerging as a "Three Bears" product - "just right" and not too much, or too little of anything.
