This is not only miss-leading it is is incorrect. Vista was built on code from Win95/98/ME etc... It was not totally re-written as the person who wrote this story would have you believe. |

That too is miss-leading, as it was actually built on the NT/2k/XP codebase. |

What's REALLY miss-leading is the way people here spell 'misleading'. And kaikara is right. After the 2004 abortion, they started with the WS2K3 codebase.

Latch is correct in that 60% of the old WS2K3 code reportedly was redesigned after the overdue Longhorn was found to be too security weak in 2004.
I suspect that many of the people that misspell words, that US Grade School children learn to spell correctly, is that they were not educated where English was the primary spoken language. As long as we understand what they are communicating to us that should be adequate. |
