I miss the simple, small, original MSN messenger that could connect up to AIM.
It seems those days are long gone :( |

Agreed. At first it looked like XP's Windows Messenger was going to be similarly simple (where if you wanted the complex features you'd get MSN Messenger). But looks like traditional Windows Messenger is dead. It's bloated Windows Live Messenger or nothing.
Doesn't matter to me, though... I only use AIM. Not because I particularly like it, just because I don't have any online buddies who don't use it. But alas, will we ever see a day where IM is as interoperable as email? |

I use Miranda IM.
I really wish that AOL hadn't bought Mirabilis. ICQ rocked before AOL bought it. To this day we still don't have offlife messaging. |
