Today the Windows Vista beta held a chat with the Shell team who provided answers to many questions from the Tech beta community. We learned that the Febuary CTP won't be that much different from the current betas, but that changes are still coming for Windows Vista. | ||

| I think that all that that means is that they still have a bit more tweaking to do, such as how they changed "Start" to a round Windows symbol recently or changed the presentation of the start menu. It could also just mean finishing and enabling the sidebar. I really doubt that anything major is left to incorporate. |

Do you think it's possible they may release final changes to the GUI just prior to the public release, so that it doesnt get ripped off and converted to MSStyles or WB?
We know they already canned Kol's VistaXP theme, which although unfortunate, is fair enough. I think it would be a nice surprise, too. |
