Abysmal Xbox 360 Sales Plague Japanese Market | |

Seems as though Microsoft is not having the impact they hoped they would have in Japan with the Xbox 360 console as official Xbox 360 sales numbers for Japan have been circulated. In a report from research group Media Create, Microsoft has only managed to sell 7,477 Xbox 360 consoles to the Japanese market. | ||

Much less. Funny how they can't sell them there, and they can't keep them in stock here. Just goes to show that even though the PS2 has sold 100,000,000...they sold 70,000,000 in Japan, and only 30,000,000 here in the U.S.
I think it shows that each country seems to prefer their homeland consoles. |

what else could it be AWBrian? I hate to think that its some kind of nationalism (racism), but I'm at a loss to understand the amazing difference in uptake between America and Japan.
Anyone else have insight into this? |
