New Xbox a hot seller after its desert launch

Edgar Bounds and Mike Dedwiler were determined to get their hands on one of the first Microsoft Xbox 360 video game consoles released Tuesday morning -- even if it meant driving 1,800 miles in 35 hours. The journey from their home in Mississippi to Microsoft's ``Zero Hour'' launch event at an airplane hangar in the Mojave Desert paid off: The two were awarded the first two spots in line to purchase the highly anticipated game console.
