Ahead has just released a new revision 5.5.4.0 of its well known burning program. You can download it right now following the header link. This new release adds support for DVD burners so you can now burn DVD+RW, DVD-RW and DDCC (Double Density). Plus the software supports MP3 Pro files. That way you can convert MP3 Pro files into Music CD... Best of all it's even possible to rip your favorite tunes into MP3 Pro (no 64kb/s limit) using the provided encoder. | ||

Nero is awesome. Simple and does exactly what I need it to do. It has a normal Windows Interface and works great. I personally prefer Nero over Roxio. In fact I hate Roxio. But use what you like. (And NERO works great in Win XP already!!!)

| I don't know why people don't like the interface. Very simple and straightforward. I hate the new crappy interfaces people are coming out with. Check out VirusScan Central in McAfee. Totallly bogus design and it looks U G L Y. Their corporate version looks great and works great though. This from the same company. . . Just annoys me. Office XP's interface is really slick though. And I guess you are right in that would make it cooler. |
