"The Microsoft® Platform SDK provides developers with documentation, header files, and sample code necessary to write software for Microsoft Windows®, Microsoft Windows NT®, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and the Microsoft .NET Enterprise Server family of products. The Platform SDK simplifies installation by integrating components from different SDKs and installing them in common paths on your hard disk." The Platform SDK was just refreshed, November 2001 Edition, Build 3590.2. Latest files inside .CAB are of 2001-12-03. Previous release was 'August 2001 Edition'.
