Purepartner, a New York-based design firm, will bring greenspace and circles to life at the Microsoft Xbox 360 booth at E3. The firm was handed the task of designing a game environment to support the vision of the new Xbox 360 brand and will use greenspace in a urban setting to represent the next-generation Xbox.
To create the urban oasis, Purepartner used familiar civic landmarks to create several destination in the booth, including the Observatory and the Aviary. The company also found inspiration in Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay, Circles, in which the famed author cites the circle as a metaphor for rebirth, aspiration, inspiration, self-expression, community, communication, and competition. The 35,000 Xbox will have its greenspace walked on by thousands of patrons at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
