On the market less than six months, Apple's Latest News about Apple iPod shuffle has grabbed a 58 percent share of the flash-based digital media player market, up from 43 percent in February, company Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer has told Merrill Lynch Latest News about Merrill Lynch analyst Steven Milunovich in a recent interview. | ||

| Well, not sure about "buying". Apple GAVE he Hilton corporation free ones to give to all the General Managers of the 2500+ properties. Free, with the hopes that they sign onto itunes. |

If there were any doubt about the power of a brand.... I like the iPod, but the Shuffle?

But you can't see what you are playing and is easily lost.
My old Rio 300 (or something of that nature), which connected via serial, was better than the Shuffle. The restrictions put on the iPod is what made me not want to buy one, but I couldn't find the one I wanted in stores and needed it right away. Then low and behold, a 20gb iPod 3rd gen open item(complete with everything) at Best Buy for $199, instead of $299. Needless to say, I snatched it up, with an iTrip, and Xplay2 (which sucks, btw, mine is going back to the store, I think). All said and done $288. You may ask, why, why am I telling you all this. The answer is simple, I'm bored, very very bored. |

I have a second-generation 10-gigger. It's going on 3 years old now and still running strong...
I don't get to use it much during the day (I'm on the phone too much), so right now I've got it attached to a set of Monsoon 700 speakers/Sub in my bedroom. The sub is under the bed and the speakers on each nightstand. I have the iPod attached to the bed post. A better bedroom music system was never invented :) TL |
