#3, Not quite the same perspective...I posted as I had just received two security alerts in reference to this BUG and one more for the Linuces [not related, but certainly important], as I was reading and thought it significant enough to share with those following FF and Moz - as well as for those using it. I did not post to counter a new PU feature in FF, or diminish its potential benefit, but to perhaps help users of all browsers that may not have access to some of the more reliable paid subscription security resources as some do [CVE, CVP, et al].
The post does underscore the absolute import of remaining objective and making informed personal usage decisions and even more so, information provided to those in our profession that we support. Trumpeting the superiority of one technology over another is not the goal, but providing accurate information supporting informed choices is and should not be sacrificed regardless of how passionately one may support one source of technology over another.
#3, I would not paint with such a broad brush - the results are rarely positive.
