Xbox owners are still in danger of seeing their consoles fail despite Microsoft providing new cables for faulty models last month, the British tech publication, The Register has reported. On February 17, Microsoft said it was recalling 14.1 million Xbox power cords after customers reported minor burns and fire damage due to faulty units. However, The Register quoted hardware experts as saying that the problem was not with the cable, but rather with the power supply on certain models.
