Microsoft and Burst.com Settle Outstanding Litigation and Enter Into Licensing Agreement | |

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Burst.com, Inc. (OTC: BRST) today announced that the two companies have reached an agreement in principle resolving all claims in Burst’s lawsuit against Microsoft. Microsoft will pay $60 million to Burst for the settlement of all claims and for a non-exclusive license (without sub-license rights) to Burst’s patent portfolio. Burst’s lawsuit, originally filed in June of 2002, asserted patent, trade secret and antitrust claims. | ||

| So, how about the criminal case? Microsoft stole Burst's intellectual property and then destroyed evidence to cover it up. Isn't that a crime? |

Another successful company - at sueing Microsoft!
Burst.com, according to records on their website, had about $7000.00 in "other income" for the 3d quarter of 2004 ending in September - the last time they reported. They apparently didn't feel the need to provide their shareholders with the results of their 4th quarter. Yeah, a very successful company with a technology that everyone can't wait to get. No revenue; no earnings, but hey, they know how to sue the deep pockets company. |

| This deep pockets company has a history of stealing other people's ideas and then lawyering them into submission if they fight back. |
