I hope they fix the MAPI send bug...
I do a LOT of emailing of web pages using the Mail/Send Page... command (Icon). Prior to XP/IE6, the subject line of the email would automatically be generated from the Page Name embedded in the web page (i.e. what typically shows up in the window title bar). Now, the subject line is set to garbage. For example, I just went up to Mail/Send Page... and the generated email had the Subject Line "Emailing: comments.htm". Prior to XP/IE6 it would have said something line "ActiveWin.Com - The Most Activated Windows Resource". This is a truly a productivity zapping bug. And I want a way to change that damned built-in automatic search-engine re-direction what comes up for 404 errors...! TL |
